This bowler hat is made of 100% wool felt. The brim is curled all the way around and piped in black ribbon. There is a black ribbon around the crown with a bow to the left hand side. The crown is 12cm high and the brim is 6cm wide. The hat is lined in satin and has a leather look hat band around the inside.

The bowler hat dates back to 1850 when it was first created for Thomas Coke the 2nd earl of Leicester. It was orginally designed by James and George Lock of London, a company still in business today.
